| Commission Members seek to frame issues, identify problems and
recommend solutions, including public policy to enhance the economic self-sufficiency of
women, promote security and safety for families, and empower women of all ages. As
the voice for women in the county, the Commission functions as an advocacy agency and
information clearinghouse. Through its publications, women's forums, annual women's
recognition awards, a continuing education scholarship program, and active participation
in community events, the Commission provides information and referral for services and
advocates on behalf of county residents.
In meeting our mission, we have achieved the following::

- We celebrate wonderful women every year for their assistance and volunteerism
within the county.
