Dating and the risks for developing unhealthy relationships. The warning signs for our teens and parents and where to get help.

MARCH 23 - BELIEVING IN YOU

Self empowerment and expanding your comfort zone. Assertiveness training and improving your own self worth.

APRIL 27 - SURVIVING BEING A SURVIVOR OF CRIME

Advice and help on how to rebuild your life from other survivors and counselors of Domestic Violence, Rape/Sexual Assault, and loss of a loved one. Understanding your legal rights as a victims of crime and services and agencies available for you.

MAY 27 - WOMEN'S HEALTH 101

The facts every woman needs to know about her health. Warning signs and what they mean; depression, heart attacks, stress, diabetes, cancer and more.

JUNE 29 - BETTER HEALTH FOR A BETTER YOU

Healthy food choices in a fast food/processed food world; eating healthy on a budget; stress reduction tips for all; meditation and nutrients/vitamins our bodies need to stay stress free and healthy.

JULY 27 - BUILDING A BETTER CAREER

Resume writing and what every employer is looking for. Interveiwing techniques that will help you no matter what job you are seeking.

AUGUST 31 - WE'VE COME A LONG WAY BABY... BUT NOT FAR ENOUGH

THIS SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO CONFLICT WITH LWV CANDIDATES FORUM AT HUNTINGTOWN HIGH SCHOOL.  INDIVIDUALS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE LWV FORUM.

SEPTEMBER 28 - KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE

What our kids face in schools and how to help: bullying, gangs, peer pressure; school policies; yours and your child's rights; strengthening families and kids.

OCTOBER 26 - DO I NEED AN ATTORNEY

Civil and Family law; Mediation and it's benefits. When do I need an attorney and how to choose one.

NOVEMBER 30 - IF I NEED HELP WHERE DO I GO?

County and State services to help you. Emergency preparedness for all.

DECEMBER 28 - AM I PREPARED?

Estate planning; wills; aging parent. Understanding medicare and social security.
